Our Mission

To commission, produce and present extraordinary theatre for young people and their families and to make theatre accessible to the broadest range of young audiences across Western Australia, nationally and internationally.

Our Vision

is to ignite the imagination of young people through extraordinary theatre experiences.

With 20 years experience in the industry we believe that theatre performances can be fun, thought provoking and educational. Our shows are designed to further develop the imagination, self-expression and cognitive development of children.

We seek to stimulate conversations between parents and their children; teachers and their students. We provide a forum, which encourages creative thought, develops imagination and leads to the investigation of ideas and expression.

Careers with Barking Gecko

We are currently seeking a dynamic Artistic Director.  This is the role of a lifetime to artistically lead a company of professionals devoted to creating extraordinary theatre to ignite young imaginations.
