
Bryan Woltjen
Seconded in London after graduating from the WA Academy of Performing Arts 1998 Design stream, Bryan worked in various occupations from portrait artist on the streets of Berlin, to assistant scenic artist in London, returning as a Props maker for the Priscilla segment in the Sydney 2000 Olympic Closing Ceremony. Recent designs include Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? for Black Swan Theatre Company, and The Visit for BSX, for which he was awarded the Equity Guild award for Best Designer of 2005. Having designed for many of WA’s premier performing arts companies, Bryan continues to freelance across Australia as multi art-form designer and theatrical consultant.
