Jeremy Rice

Jeremy enjoys collaborating with writers from different cultural backgrounds who bring a unique perspective on life in Australia. He loves the openness, curiosity and enthusiasm that young people have for live performance.  Jeremy is passionate about creating entertaining theatre where children and parents have a blast.

As Artistic Director of  Barking Gecko for four years, Jeremy directed popular plays such as Skylab, The Lost Girl and Fatty Wombat.

Jeremy has worked in television and film production since 1993 and in 2010 was the Drama Coach for the young actors in the television adaptation of Tim Winton’s Cloudstreet.

Jeremy’s most magical moment is having children and watching them grow into amazing people.
