At Barking Gecko, teachers are our partners in promoting the value of young people's involvement in the arts.  The company enjoys strong relationships with schools throughout Perth and regional Western Australia, offering high quality performances and skills based workshops. 

The Barking Gecko Education Program aims to inspire, thrill and challenge students and teachers. Our shows are designed to further the imagination, self-expression and cognitive development of the audience.

Our 2012 Education Program features a collection of beautiful, complex and sophisticated works, designed to spark creativity and ignite discussion within the teaching environment.

Barking Gecko Theatre Company presents an extensive education program, which includes incursion/ excursion performances and specialised workshops. These are linked to the Curriculum Framework.

Our schools program is designed to develop theatre/audience skills, social/personal attributes and to promote a fun, unique learning experience.
