2010 Education Program

At Barking Gecko we recognise that arts experiences enhance all phases of learning.

We believe that theatre performances can be fun, thought provoking and educational. Our shows are designed to further the imagination, self-expression and cognitive development of children.

Barking Gecko provides theatre incursions and excursions. Plus, we design our theatre programs to align with the national curriculum. To support you to integrate the theatre experience into your classroom we provide:

• Free, professionally written Education Resources with pre and post show lesson suggestions.
• Show specific workshops
• A range of specialist workshops 

We don’t just want to inspire your students.  We want to inspire you too! 

Barking Gecko run free professional development workshops for teachers.  Our next workshop Inspiring Improv is scheduled for 4.30-5.30pm on Tuesday, 2 March 2010.  Here’s your chance to meet Damon Lockwood one of the creators behind our popular show Improvilicious.
