The Buzz tackles safe-driving and inherent risks for new drivers in an interactive play acclaimed for its accessibility and relevance to young people. “Big Impact. Students were very moved and able to relate the show to their real-life experience of loss or close-call.” Teacher, John Curtin College of the Arts.

The Insurance Commission of WA first presented The Buzz in 2001 with original producers Box Clever Theatre Company. Barking Gecko was then fully sponsored by the Insurance Commission to present The Buzz free for young people in Western Australia and this successful sponsorship has continued since then.
