The Tree House

The Treehouse is a new play about how two young people deal with accidents associated with road safety. Wendy is a ten year-old who is grieving for her injured Mum. She is in denial, blames herself, and is planning to move into the Treehouse in the backyard. "Moondog" is fifteen and was hurt riding his skateboard on the road, and is wheelchair bound. He dreams of going to the Moon where weightlessness will allow him to walk again.
The Treehouse was commissioned by the RAC, in celebration of its centenary, as a gift to the children of Western Australia.
