Blast off into an intergalactic adventure this January with our space-themed holiday workshops
Looking for something stellar to keep your young creatives busy these school holidays? Our four-day workshop, Reach for the Stars (ages 8-12), is landing at two locations this January, inspired by our upcoming production of Stellarphant, based on James Foley's award-winning picture book.
Through drama, storytelling and play, young participants will explore what it takes to follow a dream as big as the stars. They'll build characters, create new worlds and work together to bring their intergalactic adventures to life. Along the way, they'll discover that bravery, friendship and determination are what make every hero truly stellar.
What to expect
Led by our expert Teaching Artists, participants will dive into:
- Drama and theatre-making skills
- Improvisation, voice and movement
- Devising and storytelling
- Ensemble work and collaboration
- Building confidence and self-expression
The week wraps up with an informal showing for family and friends on the final day, where young performers can share their creative discoveries.

- Price: $150 + ticketing fee
- Enrolment is for the full four days – single-day bookings aren't available
