Did you know that cicadas are the loudest insects in the world? When they emerge from underground in late Spring, they add their voice to a chorus that becomes the soundtrack to our Summer in Australia.
In the 2021/22 end of financial year, Barking Gecko Theatre invited our community to donate to The Cicada Chorus appeal to support our show Cicada.
Donations to The Cicada Chorus helped cover the cost of staging and touring Cicada to Perth, Kwinana, Mandurah, Harvey, Geraldton and Broome. With the support of our donors, more than 4,000 children and their families will be inspired by a story of resilience, transformation and the light children have inside themselves.
As a small theatre company, every donation, makes a big difference.
